Commissioned contemporaneous portraits on transparent materials  have become an important part of my work.  In order to let the model´s/client´s feelings and personalities pass through and take all the scene of a commissionned artwork, the artist's own emotions must be put aside, breaking the process of conventional artistical creation.  

I take pictures of them or use their own, superpose them with textures, objects, letters anything that could help characterise what they are, an emotion, a moment of their life, or -if the work is a gift- , their feelings. 

My first task is to meet  and listen. I try to become some kind of channel. The resulting work is very symbolic for them,  is subjective, and  doesn’t speak to anybody else the way it speaks to them. 

It is  - tends to be- the projection of their very personal emotion.

Now, imagine a portrait throught the veil of sensuality. It is, in fact, a extrordinary and unforgettable way to seize a moment of one's life. 

Layering, transparencies, lights and reflections  allow to portrait a secret truth playing an hide and seek game of which you could be the only one to have all the keys.

It is also possible to set up a photo-shoot, either in my studio in Marbella, Spain, or elsewhere. 

Commissionned portraits start at 3.000 euros for a 1m x 1m artwork on 1cm-thick plexi-glass with installation kit. There is an infinite possibilty of sizes, forms, material and themes that could be explored. 

From the moment I start, it will take around 1 month and a half for your portrait to be ready. Artworks can be shipped safely everywhere.
